The Celebrity Fragrances of 2010

Eva Longoria was inspired by her own difficulties in finding a scent. The “Desperate Housewife” told WWD, “I have always been somewhat allergic to all perfumes and really wanted to create something that every woman could wear.”  Eva contains notes of jasmine, lily of the valley, freesia, leather musk and sandalwood.

Ever wish you could smell like a supermodel? Well, you’re in luck. Naomi Campbell released her second fragrance this year, with notes of lemon, raspberry, guava, rose, sandalwood, coffee, vanilla and caramel. Naomi comes in a sleek bottle modeled after Ms. Campbell’s own enviable physique.

 

 

Outspoken by Fergie

Fergie teamed up with Avon to create Outspoken, a fragrance aimed at women who aren’t afraid to have a strong voice. The bold new scent combines seemingly disparate aromas including black currant, tuberose and ebony, and is bottled to resemble a crystal vase Fergie spotted on her wedding day.

Tease by Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton channeled another famous blond, Marilyn Monroe, for the launch of her 10th fragrance, Tease. Containing notes of Fuji apple, white peach, amber, blond wood and hot sand, Tease is said to have been inspired out of Paris’ admiration of the late actress.

Reveal by Halle Berry

Halle Berry’s third fragrance, Reveal, is light, classic and easy to wear. The floral scent contains notes of peach, melon, red berries, cashmere and musk.

Intimately Yours by David and Victoria Beckham

Victoria and David Beckham released his-and-hers fragrances “to capture the essence of their passion and the power of their relationship.” Intimately Yours for Him includes notes of blood mandarin, frozen lemon, basil and tonka bean; Intimately Yours for Her evokes freesia, bergamot, pear leaves, orange blossom and lily.

Love and Glamour by Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez’s new fragrance, Love and Glamour, combines top notes of mandarin, water lily, coconut orchid and jasmine petals with bottom notes of sandalwood and amber to create a scent worthy of the red carpet. The fragrance comes in a curvy bottle designed to mimic Jennifer’s famous figure.

 

Radiance by Britney Spears

Britney Spears’ newest fragrance, Radiance, is evocative of berries, tuberose, orange blossom, iris and musk. The sweet scent comes in an ultra-girly rhinestone-embellished pink and blue bottle.

Lollipop Bling by Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey’s latest fragrance collection, Lollipop Bling, is a trio of candy-sweet scents inspired by the flavor of Ring Pops. Honey has notes of pineapple and, of course, honey. The sinfully sweet Ribbon evokes the scent of a blue rasberry Ring Pop with floral notes. Mine Again gets its fragrance from chocolate, rasberry and magnolia.

My Life by Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige’s fragrance, My Life, takes its name from the singer’s explosive 1994 album. The fragrance features notes of jasmine, tuberose, praline, sesame and incense. For every heart-shaped bottle sold, $1 goes directly to Mary’s foundation aiding disadvantaged women.

S by Shakira

S is Shakira’s her first foray into the fragrance world. Notes including jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and resins were combined with some of Shakira’s favorite scents, including chocolate, strawberries and baby skin—that’s right, baby skin.
